• What is Silk'n LED TriLyft?

  The Silk'n LED TriLyft is more than just a LED mask, it combines LED technology, EMS and Electroporation into one mask. The shape is specially created to target the area that shows the strongest signs of ageing.
  
  There are 4 different pre selected programs to choose from. It offers 4 Electroporation levels, 4 different wavelengths combined into 2 modes and 8 EMS levels to choose from. It works on different skin issues and skin firmness due to all the technologies that are included. It works on a deeper level than just skin but also targets the muscles due ot the EMS technology. While electroporation focuses on what is happening inside the skin cells. It needs to be combined with the Silk'n Electroporation serum that is included into the packaging.

• How does LED light work?

  LED light (red, dark red and amber) is absorbed by the epidermis and dermis, the two upper layers of the skin. This process stimulates cellular activity, helping to renew skin cells and repair ageing tissue. It helps reduce fine lines, stimulates collagen production, improves blood circulation, and targets blemishes and imperfections for a clearer-looking complexion while evening out skin tone. After each session, the skin appears more radiant and refreshed.
  
  Near-Infrared technology is an invisible light that penetrates deeper layers of the skin and supports the production of collagen and elastin for improved firmness, more volume, and a smoother appearance.

• What are the benefits of each mode?

  Mode 1 Electroporation (EP): This technology uses electrical pulses to create temporary openings in the skin cells which allows active ingredients to enter directly into the skin. There are 4 intensity levels for your
  
  Mode 2 LED (605/630/830 nm): This mode is for a calmer, younger-looking and tighter skin, and a more even skin tone. Reduction of pigmentation and redness, while amber calms and brightens the skin on the surface, red works on repair and anti-ageing.
  
  Mode 3 LED (605/630/660/830 nm): Has all the benefits of mode 2 but also focuses on anti-ageing on a deeper level and can help keep your skin balanced and shine-free.
  
  Mode 4 EMS: With the power of 24 EMS electrodes and 8 levels this mask is providing anti-ageing on a new level, even below the skin. It stimulates the facial muscles in the most important zones to enhance skin firmness. It promotes blood circulation and cellular energy for radiant and lifted glow

• Which wavelengths are used in each mode?

  • Mode 1: Blue 415nm and Red 633nm
  • Mode 2: Amber 605nm, Red 630nm, and Near-Infrared 830nm
  • Mode 3: Amber 605nm, Red 630nm, Dark Red 660nm, and Near-Infrared 830nm

• What is the irradiance?

  • Mode 2: 22.6 mW/cm²
  • Mode 3: 22.4 mW/cm²

• Is it suitable for everyone?

  It is suitable for both women and men, for all skin types and all skin colours. However, this device is not designed for everyone's condition. Please read the contraindications in the user manual before you start your sessions.

• Is it safe?

  After extensive testing, Silk’n LED TriLyft has been found to be safe to use in a typical home environment by both men and women. Always read the manual carefully before using Silk’n LED TriLyft.

• Does a session hurt?

  No, it does not hurt. You will only feel a mild sensation of warmth during your session when using the LED function. You may also experience slight redness of the skin during and just after the treatment, but this will quickly fade.
  If you experience any discomfort, stop using the device and contact your physician. We recommend reading the user manual before starting your session.

• Should I apply a serum or cream before the session?

  Some skincare products contain ingredients that can be photosensitive or reactive when exposed to LED light. Therefore, we advise performing the session on clean, dry skin, free from any makeup, dirt, serum or cream. Apply a serum or cream after your session to hydrate the skin. However, if you choose to use one beforehand, ensure it is compatible with LED light and fully absorbed before starting your session.
  
  For the electroporation mode it is recommended to use this together with the Silk'n Electroporation serum that is included in your packaging.

• Can I use Silk'n LED skincare products with this device?

  Yes, absolutely! Our LED serums are specially developed to complement our LED product range and can easily be incorporated into your daily skincare routine. They can be used with all Silk'n LED masks. Each serum offers its own unique benefits. For more information, please visit the product pages on our website.

• Can I purchase the Silk'n Electroporation serum again?

  Yes, the Silk'n Electroporation serum is available for purchase on our website.

• How long does a session take?

  The LED TriLyft can be used as follows:
  Mode 1 Electroporation: max. 5 minutes per session
  Mode 2 LED (605/630/830 nm): max. 10 minutes per session
  Mode 3 LED (605/630/660/830 nm): max. 10 minutes per session
  Mode 4 EMS: max. 10 minutes per session

• How often should I use it?

  The LED TriLyft can be used as follows:
  Mode 1 Electroporation: max. 3 sessions per week and max. 5 minutes per session
  Mode 2 LED (605/630/830 nm): can be used daily and max. 10 minutes per session
  Mode 3 LED (605/630/660/830 nm): can be used daily and max. 10 minutes per session
  Mode 4 EMS: max. 3 sessions per week and max. 10 minutes per session

• Can I sunbathe?

  Yes. Because Silk’n LED TriLyft is not a laser, you can sunbathe immediately before or after the session. You don’t necessarily need to use a SPF cream after the session, although this is always recommended due to the general ageing effect of UV light on the skin.

• Is there any recovery time?

  Silk’n LED TriLyft works differently from laser, so there is no recovery period. The risk of skin damage is greatly reduced. You can immediately carry on with your daily activities.

• At what age can it be used?

  This device is suitable from the age of 18 and up.

• Can I use this device when I am pregnant or breastfeeding?

  No, you may not use this device when your are pregnant or breastfeeding.

• Should I close my eyes during the session?

  No, that is not necessary.

• Can I use this device if I have dermal fillers, Botox or have undergone professional (surgical) procedures like a facelift, micro needling and ablative RF/laser?

  This product was not tested on anyone who had had dermal fillers, Botox or professional (surgical) procedures. We cannot therefore advise using this product in such cases. If one of these conditions applies to you, we advise you to check with your physician before using the LumiGlow.
  
  In case you underwent micro needling or ablative RF/laser, we advise to wait till your skin has completely healed before you use the mask. In case you have any concerns, consult your doctor first before you use the LumiGlow.

• How do I clean my mask?

  Remove the controller from the magnetic holder. Use a damp cloth or a water-based wipe to wipe off the mask. Then wipe it dry with a dry cloth. Attach the controller back onto the magnetic holder after cleaning.
  
  Please pay attention to the following:
  • Always unplug the product from the power source before cleaning.
  • Do not use any aggressive cleaners, brushes with metal bristles, or sharp or metallic cleaning utensils such as knives, hard scrapers, and the like.
  • Do not use hot water for cleaning.
